Homestuck Headcanons
This is a list of my headcanons for Homestuck characters! My headcanons are for my version of post-canon (since everything beyond the credits of the original webcomic is considered "dubiously canon" and left up to reader interpretation), which takes place on Earth C, 5 years after the Credits, 9 years into the characters settling there, taking bits and pieces from the epilogues (specifically: the idea that Vriska, Aradia and Sollux came out of the other side of the black hole onto Earth C, rather than dying in it; June retconning Gamzee from the post-recon (pre-collide) timeline onto Earth C; and Alternate Calliope consuming Lord English, ending his reign over canon), but ignoring the Kingdoms as they were founded in the credits (mostly just ignoring the fact that they're founded or ruled by any of these characters, uniting the "kingdoms" of consorts with carapacians and, to a lesser extent, the trolls with the humans, and renaming them to: the United Carasort Kingdom [UCK](Carapcians and Consorts), Otheran (Trolls) and Anthropia (Humans).
The UCK is settled in the north of the South American continent, mostly in the more tropical areas of what in our world is north-east Brazil. Otheran is located west of the UCK, in the north-east of the South Amerian continent, and expands into part of the Atlantic Ocean, in what would be north-west Brazil in our world. Anthropia is located to the south of both Otheran and the UCK, covering what is Paraguay, south Bolivia, parts of southern Brazil and northern Chile, as well as the most northern parts of Argentina in our world.
Ghosts from the dream bubbles continue existing on Earth C, where they're all visible, tangible and resume aging, including all the alpha trolls, as well as the dead beta trolls (Eridan, Feferi, Equius, Nepeta and Tavros), including dead beta trolls who's bodies were prototyped into sprites (eg; Gcatavrosprite exists alongside a ghost Tavros). These ghosts live in "Ghost Towns" in the in between of Otheran and the other two nations, the towns being quite rural.
Random species headcanons:
Though skin darkness varies from troll to troll, the colour of trolls' skin darkens as they age until eventually turning ashy black.
The range of the average heights of different bloodcastes expands the further up the hemospectrum one goes, as lower castes stop growing at a younger age than their higher blooded counterparts

Misc Headcanons: June is a tomboy, though when she first came out, she went through a more hyperfeminine phase (dressing up with Kanaya and Jade's help).
June lives with Vriska and Terezi, in the more densely populated towns near the northern border of Anthropia. There, they run a store together that sells an assortment of prank gifts, board games, customized dice, a variety of snacks, art supplies and plushies/plush dolls. June themself helps create the prank gifts, snacks and board games.

Misc Headcanons: Though the frequency of her narcoleptic episodes was increased by the game, now that the game was completed, Jade still has episodes, just less frequently, and as a stress response rather than seemingly randomly.
Jade lives with Alliope, Aradia, Feferi, Jasprose and Nepeta in the rural farmland between the UCK and Otheran,
only a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Together, they run a majority crop farm, with just a few animals for self-sufficiency (though Jade and Nepeta aren't opposed to hunting). Though they all live on the same plot of land, Jade, Aradia and Alliope have their own seperate house on the farm, mostly for Alliope's sake. As a collective, they sell leftover crops and eggs across all three nations, and work with Tavros and Equius to provide them lusii and animal feed.
Recently, he and Alliope adopted a wriggler together named Callisto, a blue-blooded boy. Though she and Alliope are his legal guardians, everyone else on the farm also takes on babysitting duties when needed, the trolls providing information specific to raising a wriggler.

Misc Headcanons: Rose lives with Kanaya within a few hours of the Mothergrub's cave in northern Otheran, near the Atlantic Ocean. They both volunteer at
the Mothergrub's cave, both to help take care of the wrigglers, the Mothergrub herself, or to help train new workers (both paid and volunteer).
Alongside her volunteer work, Rose is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction, publishing multiple biographies on the behalf of the fellow survivors of Sburb, two auto-biographies (one dedicated to her relationship with her mother as she knew her in her own universe, as well as her relationship with Roxy now, and another auto-biography dedicated to her time in the Sburb session), a series of fantasy novels, and a series of sci-fi novels.
They still hold an interest in science and often join in experiments with Roxy, Jade and occasionally Dirk.

Misc Headcanons: It started ironically, and if you ask him it still is ironic, but Dave is a furry, with 2 fursonas (Akwete Purrmusk and Dovida Stride) and a couple fursuit peices (paw gloves, a tail matching each of his fursonas, and a pair of paw slippers) made for him by Nepeta.
Dave lives with WV, Dirk, Karkat and Sollux in Can Town, the capital of the UCK. The four of them live in a penthouse appartment together. Dave makes music with Sollux at home, as well as joining Karkat to help the Mayor figure out ideas and logistics of city planning.
She, alongside her music and art, also works on archeology with Aradia and Jake, travelling around the world in search of ancient artifacts.
They make visits to Gamzee while he stays in his rehabilitation program, sometimes with Karkat, and will usually simply go on walks to talk, or sometimes go on paledates and rap together. Even though they know they don't need to, Dave will still apologise for unknowingly helping to put Gamzee down this path as a kid.

Misc Headcanons: On Earth C, he lives in the extra rural towns on the south-western borders of Otheran where he and Equius own a livestock farm. His hive is in a treetop and accented with his blood colour.
Even with their robotic legs, Tavros still uses a cane at times to adjust for some weak balance, even, very occasionally, returning to using a wheelchair when they needs to go longer distances quickly, usually using it when they need to travel into town or needs to round up lusii or livestock.
Her fashion sense fluctuates from very flowy and feminine (typically falling into the solarpunk/cottagecore/farmer aesthetic) to very alternative and more masculine-leaning/androgynous (typically falling into punk and metalhead aesthetics), occasionally dressing in a folkpunky in between.

Misc Headcanons: Horuss is the host of a DID system of 17 alters and 3 subsystems, as well as several fragments that Horuss struggles to contact or understand.
The system is collectively named "The Soul Collective" or, sometimes "The Intricate System", uses he/she/they pronouns collectively, and tend to use the term "soul" or "entity" instead of alter.
