Misc Headcanons:
Instead of Death: Either a different soldier is hit by Polyphemus' club, or only Polites' lower body is crushed, passing out and presumed dead by the crew. Eventually, he wakes up and, when Polyphemus notices, is hesitantly fed and taken care of by the monster. Polyphemus slowly starts treating him as a companion, a mix of a pet and a partner, and does his best to heal Polites' legs and attempts to build her mobility aids.

Misc Headcanons: After their death, they asked Apollo if it would be possible to allow them to change sex at will. Though Apollo refused to give her that much
power, he instead simply gave her mixed sex characteristics for her devotion to prophecy.
Tiresias was accidentally blinded by Athena after accidentally seeing her nude in a local hotspring with his mother as a child, and was gifted his ability to see through time as an apology.
